Pre-registration for the inaugural Cord Blood Connect international congress exceeds 325, with nearly a third traveling from 33 countries.
International guests at the congress will represent Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, France, Georgia, Germany, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Israel, Italy, Lithuania, Mexico, Netherlands, Peru, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Taiwan, Ukraine and United Kingdom.
Registration opens at 4 pm Friday. The Opening Plenary Session begins at 6:30 pm with an overview of the congress and a keynote lecture by Dr. Eliane Gluckman who will be receiving the first CBA Lifetime Achievement Award.
A Welcome Reception, celebrating the 30th anniversary of the first cord blood transplant, follows at 7:45 pm, oceanside on the Americana Lawn.
